A student was asked to multiply a number by 5/3. He multiplied it by 3/5 instead. Find the percentage error in the calculation

It depends on the value of the number you are multiplying 3/5 with

Let the number be X

If X≠0X≠0then, the answer is 64%If X = 0 then, the answer is 0

So the average error will be (64+0)/2 = 32%.
