1) Copper (Cu) will not displace hydrogen from dilute Hydrochloric acid.
- This due to the fact that copper lies below hydrogen gas in the reactivity series, i.e., it is less reactive than hydrogen gas.
- So it will not displace hydrogen from acids.
2) Zinc and Iron reacts with steam to give hydrogen gas.
- These metals do not react with cold/warm water, and can only react with steam.
