a student was performing an experiment in science laboratory connected and electric bulb to an electric cell through an electric which he noticed that the bulb is not glow when the electric which was set in its own position mention any two reasons for this observation

The first reason for the bulb to glow in the above circuit, the switch has to be in the on position and not its own off position.

The electric switch is the device that breaks or completes the ‘circuit’ and the ‘current flowing’ through the circuit.

The second reason might be a ‘break in the fuse’ or the ‘filament of the bulb’ which might break the path of the current flowing in the circuit.
