A student was performing an experiment in the laboratory. He found that when one spoon of copper sulphate was dissolved in 100mL of water, the colour of water became blue whereas when he added one spoon of sugar granules in 100mL in another beaker, sugar granules disappeared.

1. Give reason why the sugar granules disappeared.
2. State the value shown by him

✴A student was performing an experiment in the laboratory. He found that when one spoon of copper sulphate was dissolved in 100 ml of water , the colour of water became blue where as when he added one spoon of sugar granules in 100 ml in another beaker , sugar granules disappeared .

✔The sugar granules when dissolved in water , get in the empty spaces of water which leads it to disappear in water without effecting the water level . This shows that sugar is soluble in water .

✔The value shown by the students is awareness and curiosity regarding science and it's phenomena.
