A student was provided with four samples of manganese, zinc, sodium iron and copper metal. He subjected them to some chemical treatment. Which one of these (a) Will not displace hydrogen from dilute HCI? (b) Will react only with steam to evolve hydrogen gas? (c) Will evolve hydrogen gas with dil. HN03? (d) Will be displaced from its salt solution by all other metals?

Here , are your answer :-

(a) Will not displace hydrogen from dilute HCI ?
=) Copper .

(b) Will react only with steam to evolve hydrogen gas ?
=) Iron .

(c) Will evolve hydrogen gas with dil. HN03 ?
=) Manganese .

(d) Will be displaced from its salt solution by all other metals ?
=) Copper .
