Hi ,
equations of two lines are
y = 1 -----( 1 )
2x + 3y = 6 -----( 2 )
Put y = 1 in equation ( 2 ) , we get
2x + ( 3 × 1 ) = 6
2x + 3 = 6
2x = 6 - 3
2x = 3
x = 3/2
Therefore ,
Required intersecting point
( x , y ) = ( 3/2 , 1 ) = ( 1.5 , 1 )
I hope this helps you.
