A students need to score at least 30% marks to pass a test if a student get 135 marks and failed by 15 marks find the maximum marks of the test

Number of marks required = 135 + 15 = 150 .

So 30% marks = 150

Let the maximum marks be x.

30% of x = 150

x = 5 * 100 = 500

Therefore, Maximum marks of text = 500

According to the question,
Extra 15 marks more is needed by the student to pass in the examination.
Such that the value will be 135+15=150.
Now,
Let the maximum marks of the test will be X
30% of X =150
=>(30/100)*X=150
=>(3/10)*X=150
=>X=(150*10)/3
=>X=500

Therefore, the maximum marks of the test is 500.
