A study found that children with light-coloured eyes are likely to have parents with light-coloured eyes. On this basis, can we say anything about whether the light eye colour trait is dominant or recessive? Why or why not?

Answer:

Well...

It's hard to say because all we know is just the phenotypic character here..

not the genotypic and also we don't know whether the parents are hetero or homo in genotypic characters...

so the answer would be likely (No)

hope it help!^_^

I just remembered...

light eye colour are recessive towards dark eye colour..

so yeah!... it can be that light colour is recessive in this case.. but my above ans isn't completely wrong
