A submarine aims a small missile at enemy's submarine which is at a distance of 10m and the missile travels with
constant velocity 1000ms. If the submarine receives the explosion sound after Is, find the speed of sound in water?​

i.e t=distance/ time

t= 10/1000 = o.o1 sec

we know that they here the sound after one second so the remaining 0.99 (1-0.01)sec is for the sound to travel

let the speed of sound=v

the sound takes o.99 sec to travel 10 m

we know velocity =distance/ time

v= 10/0.99=1000/99=10.1010 m/ s

so

the sound travels in water with 10.10 m/ s in this sum
