ATQ

Initial position of submarine = -65 m

after the rise and move , position will be

+26-15 m = +11 m

=> final position is

-65+11m

= -54m

=> submarine is 54m below sea level

The submarine is 54 m below sea level.

Given,

A submarine is 65 m below sea level.

It rises 26 m and then dives 15 m.

To Find,

The submarine depth in sea level.

Solution,

A submarine rises 26 m from 65 m = 65 - 26

                                                           = 49 m

Then, submarine dives 15 m = 49 + 15

                                                = 54 m.

Therefore, the submarine is 54 m below sea level.
