a submarine limits a sonar Pulse which returns from an underwater diff. in 1.02s. if speed of sound is 1531 m/s. what is the distance of seabed from ship

t= 1.02s \\ v = 1531 \: mtrs \: per \: sec
we know that
v = 2d \div t \\
therefore
d = vt \div 2
 =  > 1531 \times 0.51 \div 2
 =  > 780.81 \: metres
