A submarine submerges at the rate of 5m/min. If it descends from 20m above the sea level, how long will it take to reach 250m below sea level?

descend starts from = 20m

submarine have to reach = -250m

Distance between above sea level to below sea level = 250 + 20 = 270m

time taken to reach 270 m = 270/5= 54 minutes
