A submarine was floating a depth of 420 metres below the sea level.If it ascends 210 metres , what will be the new position?[express in terms of height]

as the sub is below sea level,calculate it's depth also
so,
depth + ascending height = new position
so, 420 + 210 =630
the new position is 630 metres higher than the depth it was floating
