Let the total no. of people in the society = x
x people in the society paid 62.50 × 100 paise = 6250 paise
No. of people in the society = 6250 ÷ 10 = 625 people

Sometimes in the book given answer may be wrong
First you will convert rupees in paise
and then you will divide money given by each people
