a substance has no mass . can we call it a matter. why?

According to the very basic, primary school science books definition of matter 'matter is anything that has mass and occupies space' hence if something that occupies space but has no mass is not matter. ... No you cannot call that a matter or even a substance

matter is defined as the substance or entity which has mass and occupy some space so if a substance has no mass we can not regards it is matter ☺
