Crude copper has no power to act on dilute sulfuric acid since its reduction capacity is much more than that of hydrogen. So, it cannot displace hydrogen from any of the oxidizing acids like that of hydrogen chloride, or dilute sulfuric acid. so, upon introduction of concentrated sulfuric acid ie H2SO4, under the action of constant healing(boiling), the acid just gets reduced to sulphur dioxide and a redox reaction is resulted. Hence the impurities are of no importance or power and they are basically inert for the acid.
