Explainations

“This element is present in bones also & oxide of a group 2 element is intensively used in cement industry”

→ The element present in our Bone is Calcium and is used as it's hydroxide on walls intensively.

On treatment Calcium with water we get Ca(OH)₂ which is basic in nature and hence turns red litmus blue.

Answer

Oxide of Calcium (Ca) is CaO and hence it is the required answer.

Explanation:

A Group II element is used extensively in ‘cement industry’ the element present in bones also and ‘treatment with water’ it forms a solution which turns red litmus blue is calcium.

“CaO (Calcium oxide)” is extensively used in ‘cement industry’, bones also contain calcium. Amount of calcium in the bone determine the strength of the bone calcium and water together forms calcium hydroxide which is alkaline and converts red litmus paper blue.

CaO + H2O → Ca(OH)2

Hope it Helps !!!!
