a sudmarine hovers is at 240 meters below sea level. if it decends 160 metres and then ascends 390 metres. what is its new position?​

Answer:

Present position is 240 mtr below sea level.

After decends 160 mtr new position is 240+160= 400 mtrs

Again ascends 390 mtrs.

So, new position is400-390= 10 mtrs

hence the new position is 10 mtrs below sea level
