10%w/v solution of sugar in water means 10 g of glucose present in 100g of water.

Then Mass of glucose is 10g

Mass of water is = 100g−10g=90g=0.09kg

and density = 1.2gmL−1

To find the molarity i.e,vw

Density = vm=1.2 g/ml

volume=densitymass

molality=1.2g/ml100g=83.33ml=0.0833L

molarity=0.08330.0566=0.67M
