Step-by-step explanation:

Let the bag be x

Then suitcase will be x +400

Now 6(x+400) +6x = 4800

6x +2400+ 6x =4800

12x +2400=4800

12x=2400

X= 200

So bag is 200 and suitcase is 600

So price of suitcase is 3 times that of bag .

Hence it is 300% less than bag

QUESTION ⤵️

A suitcase costs Rs 400/- more than that of a bag. 6 bags and 6 suitcases together cost Rs 4800/-. By what percentage is the price of a bag less than that of a suitcase.

ANSWER ⤵️

Your answer is 100/3%

Explanation::-

Let the bag cost be x

then the suitcase cost will be x+40

1bag+1 suitcase = 4800/6= x+400+x

= 2x= 800-400

{\huge{\boxed{\mathcal{\pink{x\:=\:200}}}}}

Therefore, 1 bag =200 and 1suitcase=400+200

then 1 suitcase= 600.

Required percentage= 200×100/600

therefore, % = 100/3%

{\huge{\boxed{\mathcal{\red{hope \:  it \:  helps}}}}}
