A = 13824 sq cm

So length of cloth required = A/w

L = 13824/96 = 144 cm

Hence 144 cm or 1.44 m of cloth is required for one suitcase.

Thus 14400 cm or 144m of tarpaulin cloth is required for 100 such suitcases.
