a suitcase with measure 80cm x 48cm x 24cm is to be covered with a tarpaulin cloth. How many metres of tarpaulin of width 96cm is required to cover 100 such suitcases?

Tarpaulin:
b1=96cm
Number of suitcase · TSA of suitcase=Area of tarpaulin cloth
n · 2(lb+bh+lh)=l1 · b1
100 · 2(80 · 48 + 48 · 24 + 80 · 24)=l1 · 96
100 · 2(6912)=l1 · 96
l1=[100 · 2(6912)]/96
l1=100 · 144
l1=14400cm
l1=144m
