Hii..

here is ur answer :--

Dimension of the suitcase = 80cm*48cm*24cm

surface area = 2(lb+bh+hl)

= 2(80*48+48*24+24*80)

= 13824cm^2

Area of 100 suitcases = 13824*100cm^2

= 1382400cm^2

width of the cloth =96cm

Area of the cloth = Area of the suitcase

l*b= 1382400cm^2

l*96cm = 1382400cm^2

l = (1382400/96) cm^2

l = 14400cm

Therefore, 14400m cloth is required.

Hope it helps u!!

Total surface area of a suitcase =

2(lb+bh+lh)
2(80×48+48×24+24×80)
2(3480+1152+1920)cmsq
2(6912)cmsq =13824cmsq
TSA of 100 suitcases =100×13824cmsq
1382400cmsq
Surface area of 1m tarapaulin=100cm×96cm=9600cmsq
Metres of tarapaulin to cover 100 suitcases
=1382400cmsq ÷9600m=144m (ans.)
