A suitcase with measures 80 cm x 48 cm x 24 cm is to be covered with a tarpaulin cloth.
How many metres of tarpaulin of width 96 cm is required to cover 100 such suitcases.

                             = 2(80 x 48+ 48 x 24+ 24 x 80)

Area of 100 suitcases=13,824 x 100

                                   = 1,382,400cm^{2}

Width of tarpaulin cloth= 96 cm

Length of cloth= \frac{Area}{Breadth}
