Assume you have 1 liter of acid. You can use any volume, I just find a liter is easy.
The mass of acid is 980 g since it's 98% acid m/v basis.
The mass is 1980 grams in total (volume * density and converting as needed)
Water is the difference.
Convert 980 grams of acid to moles. Molarity is moles of acid divided by volume of solution.
Molality is moles of acid / kg of solvent. Divide the moles of acid by the kg of water you had in the original 1 liter.
