in 8 years it becomes 3 times
so,
9 times = 3×3 times =8×3 years
therefore, 24Years

Pls give as brainlist

Answer:

It will take 32 years for a sum to become 9 times of itself.

Step-by-step explanation:

Let us assume that Principle = 100

Amount after 8 years = 3\times 100 = 300

∴ Simple interest fpr 8 years = Amount - Principle = 200

∴ Simple interest for 1 year = \frac{200}{8} = 25.

Amount after n years =  9\times 100 = 900

∴ Simple interest for n years = Amount - Principle = 800

Number of years, n = \frac{800}{25} = 32

∴ It will take 32 years for the sum to become 9 times of itself at the same rate of interest.

The correct answer is 32 years.
