Hello

Here is your answer

Let the money in one bank be Rs.x

Let the money in another bank be Rs.(10000-x)

Rate of interest in one bank=6%

Interest in one bank=x*6%=6x/100=0.06x

Rate of interest in another bank=9%

Interest in another bank=(10000-x)9%=(10000-x)9/100=90000/100-9x/100=900-0.09x

Sum of interest earned in 2 banks=Rs.750

0.06x+(900-0.09x)=Rs.750

0.06x+900-0.09x=750

-0.03x=750-900

-0.03x=-150

0.03x*100=150*100

3x=15000

x=15000/3

x=5000

Therefore

i) the money in one bank=x=Rs.5000

ii)the money in another bank=10000-x=10000-5000=Rs.5000

Hope it helps you...
