Let, the number of boys is B and number of girls is G.

Total students = 100

therefore, G = 100 - B

Total rupees = B x 3.10 + G x 2.10

=> 250 = B x 3.10 + (100 - B) x 2.10

=> 250 = B + 210

=> B = 40 = Number of Boys

therefor G = Number of Girls = 60
