let the no of of prize money of rupees 100 = x

total number of prizes= 63

The number of prize money of rupees 25= 63 - x

Cost for rupees 100 prizes = 100 × x = 100x

Cost for rupees 25 prizes = 25 ( 63- x)

= 1575- 25x

Total amount for all prizes = 3000

100x + 1575 - 25x = 3000

75x + 1575 = 3000

75x = 3000 - 1575

75x = 1425

x = 1425/ 75

= 19

no of prize money of rupees 100 = 19

no of prize money of rupees 25. = 63-x

= 63-19 = 44
