Let the total number of prizes worth rupees 100 be x and worth rupees 25 be y.

Given that it is to be given in the form of 63 prizes.

x + y = 63   --- (1)

Given that Total Sum = 3000.

100x + 25y = 3000

 4x + y = 120  ---- (2).

On solving (2)*4 and 1, we get

4x + 4y = 252

4x  + y = 120

---------------------

3y = 132

y = 44.


Substitute y = 44 in (1), we get

x + 44 = 63

x = 63 - 44

x = 19.


The number of prizes of worth rupees 100 = 19.

The number of prizes of worth rupees 25 = 44.
