Let the prizes of 100 rs and 25 rs be x andy.
Given, x + y = 63 -------------------- (1)
100x+25y = 3000 i.e 4x+y =120 --------------- (2)
On solving (1) and (2) we get
= 4x+y-x- y = 120 - 63
3x = 57
x = 19 ----------------------------(3)
Substitute (3) value in equation (2), we get
y = 120 - 76
= 44
The number of prizes each of cost 100 = 19.
The number of prizes each of cost 25 = 44.
