let x be no of 20 rs. denominations,

y be no of 50 rs denominations,

then,x+y=19,let it be eqn 1,

20x+50y=500,let it be eqn 2,

solving eqn 1 & eqn 2,

we get,x=15,y=4.

therefore,

no of 20 rs denominations=15,

and no of 50rs denominations=4.
