A sum of 500 is in rhe form of denomination of ₹5 and ₹10. If the total number of notes is 90. Find the number of notes each

Answer:

5(90-y)+10y=500. y=50/5=10. Hence x=90–10=80. So ans is 80 notes of rs 5 and 10 notes of 10.
