a sum of₹500 is in the form of denomination of₹5 and ₹10 if the total no. of note is 90

let the no of notes of 5₹ = x
and no of notes of 10₹ = y
so according to question
x+y=90
x= 90-y
and 5x+10y= 500
so putting value of x in this equation
5(90-y)+10y = 500
450-5y+10y= 500
5y=500-450
y = 50/5
y = 10
then....if y = 10, x = 90-10 = 80
so , there are 10 notes of ₹10 and 80 notes of ₹5
