Let the number of ₹5 notes be y

Value of ₹5 notes = 5y

Number of ₹10 notes will be 90-y

Value of ₹10 notes = (90-y)10 = 900-10y

5y+900-10y = 500

-5y = 500-900

-5y = -400

y = -400/-5 = 80

Number of ₹5 notes = 80

Number of ₹10 notes = 10
