Answer:

The answer is ,

there are 80 5 Rs. notes and 10 10 Rs. notes

Step-by-step explanation:

As you mentioned in hint So,

Let the no. of 5 Rs. notes be x.

Therefore No. of 10 Rs. notes will be 90 - x.

Given: The total sum is 500

Hence,

5(x)+10(90-x)=500

5x+900-10x=500

5x=900-500

x=400/5=80

Hence, the no. of %Rs. notes = x = 80

Therefore, the no. of 10 Rs. notes is 90-x = 90-80 = 10

Given :

  • I have a total of 500 in coins of denomination 5 and 10.

  • The total number of notes is 90 find the number of notes of each denomination.

To find :

  • Number of each domination of coins =?

Step-by-step explanation :

Let the number of coin 5 domination be, x.

And, the number of coin 10 domination be, 90 - x

Now,

Amount of Rs. 5 = 5 × x = 5x

According to the question,

➮ 5x + 10(90 - x) = 500

➮ 5x + 900 - 10x = 500

➮ 10x - 5x = 900 - 500

➮ 5x = 400

➮ x = 400/5

➮ x = 80.

Therefore, We got the value of, x = 80.

The number of coin 5 domination be, x = 80 coins

And, the number of coin 10 domination be, 90 - x = 90 - 80 = 10 coins.
