Since Rs 1.00 = 100 paise & Rs 6.25 = 625 paise

Let x = the number of 10 paise coins &

y = the number of 5 paise coins

the total number of coins is 80

x + y = 80

the total value of the coins is Rs 6.25 = 625 paise thus

10x + 5y = 625

by solving above two eqn. we get

x=45 ten paise coins

y = 35 five paise coins

answer is 45,35
