\textbf{Answer}

Suppose number of 10 paise coin is x

\textbf{Since total coins are 124,}

Number of 5 paise coin = (124 - x)

Since value of one coin of 10 paise is 10,
&
Value of one coin of 5 paise is 5.

=> Total value of both coins = 10(x) + 5(124 - x)

\textbf{Total value of both coins = 885 paise}

\textbf{According to the question,}

10(x) + 5(124 - x) = 885

=> 10x - 5x + 620 = 885

=> 5x = 885 - 620

=> 5x = 265

=> x = 265/5

=> x = 53

=> 124 - x = 124 - 53 = 71

\textbf{Lets verify value of x,}
If x = 53,
Value of 10 paise coin = 10x = 530 paise
Value of 5 paise coin = 5(71) = 355 paise
So total value = 530+355 = 885 paise
\textbf{Hence Verified}

\textbf{Number of 10 paise coin = 53}
\textbf{Number of 5 paise coin = 71}

\textbf{Hope My Answer Helped}
\textbf{Thanks}

Suppose number of 10 paise coin is x

\textbf{Since total coins are 124,}Since total coins are 124,

Number of 5 paise coin = (124 - x)

Since value of one coin of 10 paise is 10,
&
Value of one coin of 5 paise is 5.

=> Total value of both coins = 10(x) + 5(124 - x)

\textbf{Total value of both coins = 885 paise}Total value of both coins = 885 paise

\textbf{According to the question,}According to the question,

10(x) + 5(124 - x) = 885

=> 10x - 5x + 620 = 885

=> 5x = 265

=> x = 265/5

=> x = 53

=> 124 - x = 124 - 53 = 71

\textbf{Lets verify value of x,}Lets verify value of x,
If x = 53,
Value of 10 paise coin = 10x = 530 paise
Value of 5 paise coin = 5(71) = 355 paise
So total value = 530+355 = 885 paise
\textbf{Hence Verified}Hence Verified

\textbf{Number of 10 paise coin = 53}Number of 10 paise coin = 53
\textbf{Number of 5 paise coin = 71}Number of 5 paise coin = 71
