Ans.

On Rs. 100, interest charged for one year is Rs. 12

So on, Rs. 8000, interest charged =

= \frac{12}{100} \times 8000

= 12 × 80

= 960.

Now, to find the amount = Interest for 2 years

Rs. 960 × 2 = Rs. 1920

Amount to be paid at the end of 2 years,

= Principal + Interest

= 8000 + 1920 = Rs. 9920 Answer....
