Answer:

Total no of coins=124

sum of the values of coins=Rs.885

Let the no of Rs.10 coins be x

The number of Rs.5 coins=124-x

The value of Rs.10 coins=Rs.(10(x))

The value of Rs.5 coins=Rs.(5(124-x))

∴According to conditions

5(124-x)+10(x)=885

620-5x+10x=885

5x=885-620

5x=265

x=265/5

x=53

no of Rs.10 coins =x=53 coins

no of Rs.5 coins=124-x=124-53=71 coins
