A sum of money amounts to rupees 4800 in 2 years and to Rupees 5200 in 3 years. Find the principal and rate of interest.

Hello friend , Simple interest amounts becomes Rs.815 for 3years and for 4 years Rs854. First you have to calculate simple interest for a year That is 854 - 815=Rs 39 For 3 years 39×3=117 For 3 years simple interest including principal amount is 815. So principal = 815 -117=698 Ans 698 I hope you got the idea how to solve this. thank you
