A sum of money amounts to rupees 780 in two years and rupees 1230 in two years. Find the principal and rate of simple interest.

interest amount= 1230-780=450 in 5years

interest for 1year=450/5=90

interest for 2 year=180

sum=780-180=600

600*1*r/100=90

r=15%
