Let the sum of money be x

Time is 8 years

After 8 years it triples . So it becomes 3x.

So the simple interest is 3x-x=2x

Let the rate of interest be y.

So , x*y*8/100= 2x

Or,

y=200/8=25%

Question:

A sum of money become triple of itself in 8 years at simple intrest. So, In tweleve years it will become how many times of itself at the same rate?

Answer:

Sum of money = x

After 8 years = 3x

Simple Interest = y%

{\bold{\large{\boxed{Required\:Answer:}}}}

⚫ In 8 years, the simple interest becomes the the sum of money in its triple form.

⚫ Then, In 12 years with the same Interest, the Money will be = ?

= In 8 years it changes in its triple form.

Then, in 4 years it will be changed to 1½ form.

= These show the multiples of 4 : 4, 8 and 12.

So,

4 = 1½ part

8 = 3 part

12 = 3 + 1½ part = 4½ part.........

Thus, In 12 years, It would be multiple its 4½ part.
