It's given that the sum becomes 7/4 of itself which is the total amount.

So let the P = x
Amount = 7/4 * x
S.I = 7x/4 - x = 3x /4

S.i = P×R×T/100

3x/4 = x × R ×6/100

3×100/4×6 = R

R= 13.2 %

Hope it helps

Answer:

12.66%

Step-by-step explanation:

amount = principal + interest

7/4   = 1 + X

7/4 - 1  = X

3/4 = X

R% = I * 100/PT

R% = 3/4 * 100/1 * 6

R% = 75/6

R% = 12.66
