A sum of money doubles itself in 12 years,6 months at a certain rate of simple interest.In how many years will it triple itself? ​

Amount = Principal + Interest

Let P = 100

Then A=200

so

200=100+ (100*r* 25 )/3*100

(100*300)/25*100=R

12%= R

The amount will triple in

300= 100 + (100*12*T)/100

(200*100) /100*12=T

16 years 8 months = T
