A sum of money is divided among A, B, C and D in the ratio of 2:7:11:12. If the share of B and D together is Rs.6650, then what is the difference between the amounts of A and D?

so total sum of money=2x+7x+11x+12x=32x

Ratio of B+Ratio of D=6650(given)

=7x+12x=6650

x=6650/19

x=350

A=2x

=2*350=700

D=12x=12*350

=4200

the difference between A & D=4200-700

=3500.
