Heya

The ratio in which money is divided among A,B,C and D is 3:5:8:9

Let A's share be equal to 3x

Let B's share be equal to 5x

Let C's share be equal to 8x

Let D's share be equal to 9x

According to the question

D's share=A's share+1872

(To understand this, let us take an example. 3 is 2 greater than 1. So we represent it as
3=2+1)

9x=3x+1872

9x-3x=1872

6x=1872

x=1872/6

x=312

B's share=5×312=1560

C's share=8×312=2496

Sum of B's and C's share is 1560+2496

=Rs.4056

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Let A's share be equal to 3x

Let B's share be equal to 5x

Let C's share be equal to 8x

Let D's share be equal to 9x

According to the question

D's share=A's share+1872

(To understand this, let us take an example. 3 is 2 greater than 1. So we represent it as

3=2+1)

9x=3x+1872

9x-3x=1872

6x=1872

x=1872/6

x=312

B's share=5×312=1560

C's share=8×312=2496

Sum of B's and C's share is 1560+2496

=Rs.4056
