Solution:

Given that,

Khairul, Michael and Ethan in the ratio 6: 4: 5

Let the money with Khairul initially be 6x

Let the money with Michael initially be 4x

Let the money with Ethan initially be 5x

After Khairul gives $ 30 to Michael and $ 15 to Ethan, the ratio becomes 7: 6: 7

Therefore,

6x - 45 : 4x + 30 : 5x + 15 = 7 : 6 : 7

Also, combine first two ratios in above

10x - 15 : 5x + 15 = 13 : 7

Write in fraction form,

Find the amount of money Khairul had initially

money with Khairul initially = 6x = 6(60) = 360

Thus the money with Khairul initially is Rs 360
