Answer:

sum of money is divided among A, B and C in the ratio 2 : 5 : 3.

Let the rational between the sum of money between A , B and C

This the sum of money of A is 2x, B is 5x and C is 3x

B gets $125. It means 5x is equal to $125

5x = $125

x = $125/5

x = 25

The rational is 25 therefore shared if A, B C are

A's share 2x = 2 × 25 = $50

B's share 5x = 5 × 25 = $125 (already given)

C’s share 3x = 3 × 25 = $75

Total amount of money was

= $50 + $125 + $75

= $250

Answer the share of A is $50, share of C is $75 and the total money is $250
