Step-by-step explanation:

let I be interest

P be sum of money

T be years

R be p.a

I= PTR/100

I= P×3×11/100

P= 100 I /33. ( i)

now.,

I+5500 = P×5×11/100

P=(I + 5500)100/55. ( ii)

i=ii

I +5500)100/55 = 100 I /33

I /33 = I + 5500 /55

55I /33 = I + 5500

5 I/3 = I +5500

5 I = 3I + 16500

2 I = 8250

substitute in (i)

100×8250/33 = 25000

therefore ,

sum of money is 25000 rupees
